The Liechtenstein National Library opens the Liechtenstein Literary Archives

The Liechtenstein authors whose estates or bequests are collected by the National Library include people who live or have lived in Liechtenstein, who have written about Liechtenstein or who are Liechtenstein nationals. In terms of content, the National Library collects the estates of Liechtenstein writers and scholars from the 19th century onwards whose works are of particular quality or importance to Liechtenstein. The first literary bequest received by the Liechtenstein Literary Archives was the extensive written estate of Prof. Rainer Nägele (1943-2022). Rainer Nägele was a renowned literary scholar who last taught as Professor of German Language and Literature at Yale University in the USA.  The Liechtenstein Literary Archive is managed by Ronnie Vogt.
