The Conference of Directors of National Libraries of Europe (CENL), through its program “Scholarship for the Exchange of Skills and Knowledge”, provides mobility support and successful cooperation among its members, the national libraries of Europe.
The National Library of Serbia used this program for the first time for the professional visit of the Director, Dr. Vladimir Pištalo, to the National Library of Finland.
Regarding the program, Dr. Vladimir Pištalo was acquainted with the most important services of the National Library of Finland, through the Finnish colleagues’ presentation. Firstly, Finland’s national portal for searching cultural and scientific heritage is https://finna.fi/, maintained by the National Library of Finland, as well as the National Digitization Project. The Director of the National Library of Serbia was hosted by the Director of the National Library of Finland, Kimo Tuminen.
