From May 3rd to 10th, the German National Library is taking part in the Freedom of Expression Week. During the campaign week organised by the German Publishers and Booksellers Association, short announcements will be made in the reading rooms to emphasise the value and importance of freedom of expression and a culture of debate. Library staff will read aloud short quotations from well-known personalities. The campaign takes place daily at 10:30 am and 3:30 pm.
