Dear CENL Members,

We are pleased to inform you that the Minister of Culture of the Republic of North Macedonia has appointed Mrs Jelisaveta Kostadinova as new acting director at St Clement of Ohrid National and University Library – Skopje. She took up her post on 30th July 2021 and has replaced Mr Frymzim Dauti, who has held the position since 2017.

Mrs Kostadinova has graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University in Skopje. She is a librarian counselor with more than 25 years experience at the National and University Library of RSM. During the last 14 years she has been licensed lecturer for several COBISS courses at the same time being responsible for other tasks concerning COBISS system and Virtual Library of RSM. Also, she is a member of the Standing Committee for Acquisition of Permits for Union Cataloguing in the COBISS system.

Mrs Kostadinova is very much interested in realizing new projects and expanding international cooperation having strong enthusiasm to modernize the library and raise its reputation.
