Dr. Kimmo Tuominen, National Librarian at the National Library of Finland, succeeds Bas Savenije as Chair of the OAPEN Foundation Supervisory Board.
OAPEN is a non-profit organisation based in the Netherlands, whose mission is to promote and support the transition to open access for academic books by providing open infrastructure services to stakeholders in scholarly communication. Kimmo Tuominen assumed the position of Board Chair of the OAPEN Foundation on 9 June 2023.
