Professor Adrian Cioroianu, director of the Romanian national library, visited KBR on 18 January. In the context of the exhibition “Romanian culture in the Royal Library of Belgium” in the general reading room of KBR, he held a conference in which he talked about several writers, intellectuals, architects and musicians and their importance for Romanian cultural and political history. They are all represented in the collections of KBR, often in multiple languages. The conference was well attended and Adrian Cioroianu managed to both educate and entertain his enthusiastic audience.
