The British Library is hosting a series of webinars focused on libraries and the climate crisis, Libraries and positive climate action. On 11 December, there will be a session focussed on work to preserve libraries’ collections as they become more vulnerable to fires and floods, increased temperatures and other adverse weather events.
or how to reach the sun – is the name of the interactive exhibition for children and adults, which is open from November 10, 2023 in the Literary Museum of the Slovak National Library. Slniečko (The Sun) is our most famous children magazine and its the first issue was published in September 1927.
The National Library of Latvia launches the new Digital Library.
On 28 October the National Library of Latvia presented the new Digital Library that brings together content from over 500 partner collections from Latvia and around the world. Anyone can search and find answers on any topic within the content of over 3.8 million digital objects in the Digital Library of Latvia.

The 48th meeting of the Directors of National ISSN Centers was held in Brussels at the Royal Library of Belgium (Bibliothèque royale de Belgique).
The meeting was attended by 37 representatives of National ISSN Centers from various countries around the world, among them Anja Mastilović, head of the Department of Periodicals of the NUBBiH.
