The annual Erland Kolding Nielsen Grant awards up to €5,000 to CENL member library projects that promote international collaboration and strengthen bonds between CENL libraries. In 2025, the call was open from 8 January 2025 to 7 February 2025.

A historic event for Croatian cultural heritage took place in December 2024 in Munich. The National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK) successfully acquired a 1725 antiphonary at an auction held by a prestigious house specialising in rare books and manuscripts. In doing so, the Library brought back to Zagreb a Pauline codex that once belonged to the monastery in Remete, located in northern Zagreb.
