Lovers and professionals of Lithuanian and foreign music and related creative industries are invited to the international music exchange festival-conference “What’s Next in Music?” Organized by the Lithuanian Music Business Association in Vilnius on September 10–12. The Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania will host one of the parts of the event – the international conference “What’s Next in Music?”. It will present the main issues of the world of music.

The annual event brings together important foreign publishers, representatives of agencies, festival and concert organizers, journalists, and gives performers and groups a unique opportunity to perform for everyone, even without crossing the Lithuanian border. The goal of the festival “What’s Next in Music?”, Which has been taking place for several years, is the development and education of the Lithuanian music market, so every year what is relevant to our country’s market and performers is presented.

The program of the event, which lasts for several days, consists of two parts – a conference during the day and concerts organized in various musical spaces of Vilnius in the evenings.

The Lithuanian Music Business Association, which has brought together professionals in its field, has been organizing an exchange festival-conference “What’s Next in Music?” Since 2016. The project is partly funded by the Lithuanian Culture Council and Vilnius City Municipality.
