The Vernadsky National library of Ukraine is the largest library of the state. It houses 15,833,167 items, and offers an international inter-library loan, grants access to an online union catalogue and bibliographic databases. The library’s priceless collection of old and rare manuscripts includes the “Assyrian-Babylonian book list” from the 3rd century B.C. The Library also owns one of two existing copies of the “History of Animals” by Aristotle published in Venice in 1476.
Integration into the international library space is crucial for enhancing global collaboration, sharing knowledge, and fostering communication among libraries worldwide. These issues will be explored during the International Scientific Conference “Library. Science. Communication.
