Athens Welcomes Top Libraries: Athens International Concert Hall, August 24-30, 2019

Focusing on the digital age and on what new technologies can bring to libraries, education and research, the long-awaited 85th World Congress of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions – IFLA begins in Athens ) on “Libraries: dialogue for change” . This is the most important event in the field of libraries, organized by IFLA with the support of the Association of Greek Librarians and Information Scientists and the National Library of Greece . It will take place from Saturday 24th until Friday, August 30, 2019 , at the International Conference Center of the Athens Concert Hall and will be attended by almost 3,500 delegates from 135 countries.
