Dear CENL members,

The Annual General Meeting is a unique opportunity for the Directors of Europe’s National Libraries to meet, discuss, collaborate and share experiences. It is an essential part of the life of CENL, where we also have to fulfil our legal obligations.

In a few months’ time, we will meet in Edinburgh, hosted by the National Library of Scotland. The National Library of Luxembourg has already been selected to host next year’s AGM. Now it is time to find a host for 2027.

Hosting of the AGM includes a cultural programme on Sunday with visits to local heritage sites, followed by a full day on Monday with a gala dinner in the evening, and a half day on Tuesday morning with an optional visit to the host institution on Tuesday afternoon.

If you would like to welcome the Directors of Europe’s National Libraries to your library in 2027, you are welcome to express your interest by filling out the application form.

Please note that all applications will be evaluated and presented to the Executive Committee to decide on who will be our host in 2027.
