As from 17 September 2022, the Richelieu site, the historic birthplace of the BnF will be fully opened following a decade of renovation work. A new museum will allow to highlight the full extent of the library’s encyclopaedic collections with a display of nearly 900 pieces.
A dedicated week-end of festivities will take place on 17 and 18 September during the European Heritage Day.
