Three priceless pieces of Polish literary heritage held by the National Library of Poland have been added to the Polish National List of the UNESCO “Memory of the World” Register. They are the collection of sixteenth-century correspondence known as the Teki Górskiego (Górski’s files), the manuscript of Juliusz Słowacki’s Balladyna and the small illustrated volume of verses W żalu najczystszym (In Purest Sorrow) by Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński.
