State Hall

If you can’t come to the State Hall, the State Hall just comes to your home: Take a virtual live tour of one of the most beautiful libraries in the world.

Whether details of the impressive dome fresco, a view of the famous Star Chambers or interesting facts about the imposing statue of Emperor Charles VI in the middle of the hall: with this online format you get to know the stately hall from a completely new perspective. Together with the guide, he walks live through the Google Streetview recording of the statehall, and he is happy to answer all questions via chat.

About the stately hall: Emperor Charles VI arranged the construction of this jewel of profane Baroque architecture for his court library. Built between 1723 and 1726, the State Hall, with its 200,000 valuable books, conveys the authentic image of a baroque universal library.
