The Association of Magazine and Online Press Editors and the Greek Press History Documentation and Study Laboratory / Panteion University’s Modern History Research Center are co-organizing the 8th ESPRit International Conference on “Periodicals”. The conference will be hosted at the National Library of Greece at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC).

The Court aims to bring new knowledge, to reinforce the research of the Greek press and to bring this research in line with the European and international example. ESPRit will be the platform for dialogue to develop these actions through the Congress. This European academic structure has an international character and aims to promote and disseminate research as well as the interdisciplinary approach to the study of periodicals from the 17th century to the present day. It is aimed at researchers in the field of periodical studies where it belongs to a wide range of critical, theoretical and methodological approaches, which includes, without limitation, the history of culture, literary studies, art history, gender studies and studying mass media.
